Nick Manning set to leave OMD

Nick Manning, CEO of Manning Gottlieb OMD and OMD UK, is believed to be about to announce his resignation from his roles at the Omnicom agencies.

Senior executives from the agencies were locked in a meeting this morning (Tuesday) and nobody was available for comment.
Nick Manning and Colin Gottlieb established Manning Gottlieb Media with a team of four in 1990. In 1997, MGM joined Omnicom group, and was re-named Manning Gottlieb OMD in February 2002.
Manning Gottlieb OMD has £300m of client billings, working for clients such as Nissan, Virgin, Sony, Apple and Sara Lee.
In 2004, Manning was appointed as CEO of OMD in the UK, which gave him power over group billings of £750 million annually. In that same year, he also co-founded Opera, OMD's joint venture media negotiation company, which bills £1 billion on behalf of Omnicom's agencies in the UK.
