Univero is the largest independent full service full market research network in Scandinavia. Norway, Denmark and Sweden represent Europe's fifth largest research market, with annual spend of around £282m.
Univero's businesses include MMI Univero in Norway, TEMO Univero and LUI Univero in Sweden, Vilstrup Univero in Denmark and Fieldwork Scandinavia. These brands specialise in FMCG, food and drink, public sector, communications, media, youth and retail research.
The various businesses will now become part of Aegis' research network Synovate.
Aegis chief executive Robert Lerwill said: "Adding Univero will give Synovate coverage in every significant European market. Entering the Scandinavian research market has been a priority for Synovate; we are now doing so as a major player."
He added: "Univero is an attractivebusiness in its own right, with a good presence and a blue-chip client list,both domestic and international. Univero will also let us offer a full research service in Scandinavia to our clients elsewhere in the world."
