Plakativ Media appoints director of sales

German outdoor company Plakativ Media, which launched in the UK three months ago, has hired Paul Burrough from Redbus Outdoor as its first director of sales.

Burrough was head of in-store advertising sales at Redbus Outdoor, which he joined from JCDecaux's central trading unit.

Plakativ Media was formed by Richard Naylor, Harvey Glenn and Richard Moseley, three senior outdoor figures with combined experience at JCDecaux, Maiden, Hollywood Media, Clear Channel and BlowUp Media. It launched in the UK with 25 highprofile sites.

Its European network includes Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Austria and Poland.

Burrough said he brought an extensive knowledge of the industry, from both buying and selling outdoor, to his new role.

"As a new company, formed as part of the pan-European Plakativ network, I am looking forward to using this knowledge in assisting to shape its future."
