Burrough was head of in-store advertising sales at Redbus Outdoor, which he joined from JCDecaux's central trading unit.
Plakativ Media was formed by Richard Naylor, Harvey Glenn and Richard Moseley, three senior outdoor figures with combined experience at JCDecaux, Maiden, Hollywood Media, Clear Channel and BlowUp Media. It launched in the UK with 25 highprofile sites.
Its European network includes Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Austria and Poland.
Burrough said he brought an extensive knowledge of the industry, from both buying and selling outdoor, to his new role.
