ValueClick has appointed Tina Wild as business development account manager for ValueClick Media and Alison Rowley as marketing communications manager for ValueClick Europe.
Wild has five years online experience in business development with companies such as Ad Pepper Media, XPO Network and Real Media. She will be responsible for generating publisher relationships, brokering media buys and identifying advertising contacts. Before ValueClick Europe, Rowley was brand and comms manager at Deal Group Media.
Tim Hartley has been appointed S4C’s director of corporate affairs. Tim joins the channel from the Welsh Assembly Government where he is head of corporate communications and was previously head of news.
Initiative Europe has announced that Philippe Sarrazin, executive vice president, Initiative Worldwide, has been appointed CEO of Initiative Paris. Sarrazin takes over from Jean-Christophe Petit, who has held the dual role of COO Latin America and president of the agency for the past 18 months. The move enables Petit to focus on Initiative in Latin America.
handbag.com, the women’s lifestyle website, has added to its sales team with the appointment of Shakeel Mughal as head of agency sales. Mughal spent four years working at Associated Newspapers on Metro, progressing from group head agency sales to head of client sales. Prior to Metro, Mughal also worked on consumer titles Maxim and Stuff.
The airtime sales division of BBC World has promoted three managers – Nick Meyern, John Williams and Nathalie Nawrocki are now account directors.
