The deal has been touted as a significant breakthrough for the Kerrang! stable at Emap and will include activity across the magazine, radio and television stations and online offering.
Tickets for the band’s reunion tour, earmarked for June 2005, will go on sale on 7 December and be heavily promoted from 30 November for four weeks.
The band, which is most famous for its Girls Girls Girls hit single and the antics of members Tommy Lee and Nicki Sixx, will also host a special radio show on West Midlands’ FM station, Kerrang! 105.2.
GiGi Dryer, head of ticketing and co-promotions at Emap Performance, said: “The Kerrang! platform has proved to be the number one destination for rock and metal lovers and has transformed the promotion of live events in this sector.
“Our unique co-promotion offering of cross media, ticket selling capabilities and market position have enabled a host of events to sell out in record time.
“We are sure that the return of the Crüe to the UK will be a huge success.”
Mags Revell, promoter at Metropolis Music, said: “I believe that the breadth and depth of the Kerrang! platform offers the perfect solution for this landmark tour.”
