Carl Pickford Advertising, specialist in washroom advertising, has appointed Amanda Deighan as account executive. Due to the expansion of the CPA portfolio she will be working with sales director Dianne Regan on advertising accounts.

Viacom Outdoor has appointed three new direct sales managers. Simon Rimmer, previously Clear Channel's head of direct sales, joins as North West sales manager. Andrew Davies, a Clear Channel regional sales manager for two years, takes on the role of South West sales
manager. Jason Smith, who comes to the company with more than three years' publishing experience at Job Opportunities magazine, also joins Viacom Outdoor as sales manager for the Midlands team.

JCDecaux Airport UK has employed Emily Snoxhill as a sales executive working across the whole of the portfolio. She previously worked as a senior account manager at Poster Publicity on its international accounts.

Boomerang Media has appointed Dan Photi as senior sales executive to its entertainment team. He was previously a strategist at Mediaedge:cia. The move is part of a general expansion for Boomerang Media, which is focusing on bar poster and ambient campaigns.

IPC SouthBank has appointed Kaye Woodhouse as consumer PR manager across its portfolio of 14 glossy monthly titles in the women's and home interest sectors. She was previously at Barclay Stratton PR, where she was an account director working on Sports Illustrated magazine's swimsuit issue.

Solid State Logic, manufacturer of analogue and digital audio consoles for broadcast, post, music and film facilities, has announced that Steve Zaretsky has been named vice-president, broadcast, US and Canada.

IPC ignite! has appointed Chris Burke as associate editor of Loaded. The move completes Loaded's senior editorial management team - which also consists of editor Scott Manson, deputy editor Martin Daubney and managing editor Duncan Baizley.
