OAG picks Ad 2-One for online sales role

Online sales house Ad 2-One has been appointed by global air travel information website OAG to boost advertising revenue across its network of website.

The appointment by OAG is a major coup for Ad 2-One and adds to its growing portfolio of high-profile brands such as BAA, Eurosport, Disney UK, Virgin Radio, UKTV and Mothercare.

Ad 2-One will be charged to building on a major leap in faith from established brand names to the online advertising arena in the past year.

OAG’s online advertising revenue is said to have doubled in the past year after the likes of Amex, Vodafone, BT and British Airways started booking ads on the site.

Charles Barber, head of internet & e-business at OAG, said: “Ad 2-one has an excellent existing client base and came highly recommended by media buyers and agencies.

“Their pro-active and down-to-earth approach, coupled with the ability to truly understand their customers’ requirements, made our decision to appoint them an easy one.”

Kristy Houtman, head of business development, Ad 2-One, added: “This is an exciting win for Ad 2-One as OAG offers advertisers the opportunity to be associated with a trusted brand within a compelling environment.

“OAG provides advertisers with a direct link into high net value individuals who are active, frequent online purchasers of a wide variety of goods.”
