MediaCom at top table after landing £4.5m Baxter's deal

MediaCom Scotland has been awarded the £4.5m media planning and buying account for Baxters of Speyside.

The business, which was formerly held by Feathers Brooksbank, was awarded to MediaCom Scotland without a pitch.

The win comes as the latest in a series of recent new business picked up by the agency which has included Quality Meat Scotland and Glasgow Rangers Football Club.

The company also picked up the £2m ICS Learning Systems business, previously with WWAV media, in March without a pitch.

Baxters creative account will remain at The Union following the appointment of MediaCom to the media task.

The Union recently created an advertising campaign for Baxters soup which featured chairman and chief executive Audrey Baxter.

Last year, Baxters announced that it had formed a joint venture with Scottish celebrity chef Nick Nairn to launch a range of restaurant-style sauces.
