Coca Cola launches first washroom ad campaign

Johnston Press has announced pre tax profits up 14% and a 3.2% like-for-like growth in ad revenue despite the recent advertising slowdown.

 Ambient media specialist CPA is rolling out the first ever Coca Cola washroom ad campaign for Sprite. The month long campaign will reach the 9,000 CPA sites across the country.

Carl Pickford, chief executive of CPA said: "This move towards ambient media by Coca Cola signifies the change that is occurring across the advertising industry. People are being bombarded by product messages everywhere and this is leading to audience fragmentation."

CPA have added 2000 more washrooms to their previous chain of 7000. They now have access to three new chains, Festival Inns in Scotland, Barracuda and the Massive Group across the UK.
