Tame departs Ignite

Nearly half of ITV Digital's call centre staff are to be made redundant, a loss of about 550 jobs.

Robert Tame is to leave IPC Ignite! amid a management restructure at the division, which houses Loaded, Musik, Uncut and NME. The publishing director is leaving the business to work as an independent media consultant.

Eric Fuller, publishing director of Loaded and Loaded Fashion, becomes group publishing director across the division and will add responsibility for the development of new projects to his remit.

And Steve Sutherland, brand director on NME, is to be promoted to the new role of editorial director for the title.

Robert Tame said: "It has been a privilege to have been at the very cutting edge of a multi-media revolution and to have worked side by side with some of the most inspiring talent in magazines. I now have a unique opportunity to spend some time developing a number of exciting business ideas, and to continue working in publishing, music and media with different partners."
