The future's Clear for More Group

Spring: one vision for the company

More Group is to be renamed Clear Channel UK from January as part of a strategy to unify the brand on a global basis, following a series of international acquisitions.

Although More Group's three brands - Adshel, More O'Ferrall and Taxi Media - will be unaffected by the name change, Clear Channel says the move will represent the group's outdoor advertising, radio and live entertainment businesses more coherently.

"This new name is part of our strategy of building a worldwide brand representing outdoor advertising, radio and live entertainment," said Clear Channel UK chief executive Stevie Spring.

"Clear Channel is the world's largest company in these three businesses and so consistency and clarity of message is crucial.

"Our aim is: one company, one message, one vision."

The move comes six months after major rival in the outdoor advertising marketplace TDI rebranded as Viacom Outdoor, taking the name of its parent company.

The rebranding is not understood to have an affect on roles or structure within the UK operation.
