Carat has picked up a number of pan-European media planning and buying tasks for drugs giant Pfizer.
The account, believed to be worth up to $30 million (£18.5 million), covers marketing campaigns for anti-impotence drug Viagra and Pfizer's European animal health division. Zenith Media will continue to handle planning and buying for Pfizer's consumer healthcare division, which inclueds products such as Diflucan, Migraleve, TCP and Buttercup Syrup.
Carat is understood to have picked up the business without a pitch, after winning the Pfizer $200 million (£123.5 million) US account last.
Carat will work alongside creative agency McCann-Erickson in the planned above-the-line European campaign.
