Kent gets top job at Universal

Robin Kent has been promoted to the newly created worldwide post of president of Universal McCann. Kent, who was heavily involved in Universal McCann’s global launch in October 1999, has held the post of regional director of Universal McCann Europe/Africa/Middle East for four years.

He also led the media agency through a sustained period of new business wins and an expansion of its proprietary tools.

Chairman of Universal McCann, Ira Carlin, said: “We believe that the highest levels of expertise and clout could be achieved as a media specialist while also finding a way to elevate media strategically within the entire brand-building and communications process.”
