The seven-minute documentary is running on The Sun's website. Both the film and the Sky Box Office hotline will be promoted in the paper and on The Sun's digital platforms.
'Frochy', a behind-the-scenes portrait of the boxer, was devised by The Sun's sport team and sold to Sky as a way to promote his fight against WBA super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler on 25 May at the O2.
Mike Dunn, the sports editor at The Sun, commissioned the documentary from independent producer Archer's Mark, and it is the second such film deal recently secured by The Sun's editorial team.
News International-owned The Sun is also working with Channel Flip, which is a partner of YouTube, to create unique programming to complement its football coverage.
Richard Caseby, the managing editor at The Sun, explained that the documentaries were created to meet the needs of the great appetite for behind-the-scene films focusing on sports men and women.
He said: "We devise and commission the films and then go out and sell them. Gone are the days of playing with a handycam – these films are broadcast quality and have the highest production values. We've a clear strategy that print and multimedia should complement each other rather than compete.
"The Sun is carving new digital business, which satisfies the joint interests of readers and commercial partners. It simply works for everyone."
The earlier film deal secured by The Sun featured the young jockey Aidan Coleman talking about riding at the Cheltenham Festival and was sponsored by the British Racing Authority.
Last week, The Sun unveiled its plans for its paywall. Subscription access will cost £2 a week.
