Tottle will be lead the 16-strong ad sales team for eBay and he will be charged with delivering market leading ad revenue growth by selling the scale, targeting and context the eBay website offers to brands.

In additional to leading ad sales for the eBay site, Tottle will have a wider role working with the teams selling ads for Ad2One’s other publisher partners.

As commercial director until October this year, Tottle was responsible for leading and managing the commercial operations across the Time Out business, including weekly magazine, digital, brand solutions, guides, books and international sales.

Prior to joining Time Out in 2006 Tottle held a number of senior commercial roles at Bauer Media’s predecessor Emap including commercial director at Emap Advertising and agency sales manager, Emap Metro (its consumer division).

Tottle started his career at BBC Worldwide, where he worked for seven years from 1991.

Cameran Harman, UK managing director, Ad2One said: "Despite the economy, our business is going through an unprecedented period of growth as digital advertisers look to find solutions that add genuine value to their business.

"In these two hires, we have gained exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable and versatile people and their experience will help us to achieve further growth in terms of client and agency relationships."

Ad2One has also appointed Claire Norburn, formerly online advertising operations manager at NBC Universal’s female online network iVillage UK website, as its new head of operations following growth in ad revenue and publisher clients.
