Media Bitch's Diary 9 September

This week Bitch collides with Matt Cardle at the Vevo party, observes prying eyes at the new Aegis offices and imagines Richard Desmond's butler in the Celeb Big Brother house.

Lacking that X Factor

Bitch has been doing the round of the media parties this week, attending both the Vevo summer party at Altitude 360 at Millbank Tower and the Sony Ericsson Summer Showcase at Aqua Nueva on Regent Street.

At the Vevo party she was surrounded by the seriously famous including Jessie J (who did a live set), the gorgeous Pixie Lott, and the Scottish R&B and soul "sensation" Emeli Sandé, who seems to be spreading herself a bit thin nowadays as she was also doing a live set at the Summer Showcase.

Anyway darlings, everyone at the Vevo party looked lovely in all their finery including Jonathan Lewis and Jonathan Lewen from the online music streaming service (pictured here with Ms Lott), but Bitch does think the side was let down by 'X Factor' winner Matt Cardle who turned up wearing his infamous painting and decorating cap, to what was meant to be a glam affair.

About time you finally ditched the headgear, darling.

Prying eyes

News comes to Bitch that the move of Aegis to their new offices at Regents Place has been hugely successfully, and that even the much anticipated (and apparently much argued over) staircase linking the two Carat floors, and ordered by Carat MD Tracy De Groose is now in situ and the agency is getting on with the business of servicing its clients and chasing business, with rumours of its old office at Parker Tower in Holborn just a misty memory.

Bitch is sure that a certain Nigel Sharrocks, the chief executive of Aegis Media Global Brands, thought it was a great idea to observe his domain from the first floor of the building. Who he's observing is not the problem though Bitch hears, it’s who's observing him.

Apparently, Mr Sharrocks' office is on exactly the same level as the double decker buses that pass the window, so the blinds have to be drawn to avoid any prying eyes.

Bitch is sure Nigel's desk will be moved soon…

5 star service

Looks like the staff at Channel 5 have lucked out after their acquisition by renowned media tough cookie Richard Desmond, as the multi-millionaire apparently still employs the services of a liveried butler, who has been serving many of the more senior staff in their visits to the top man's office.

Bitch thinks it’s only a matter of time before said butler is required to go into the Celebrity Big Brother house to clean up the mess that that naughty Jedward pair have made.

Keep your noses clean until next week sweeties.
