TopTipsForGirls.com is the third online venture launched by Beta. The creative agency also launched high50.com and DaddyBeGood.com earlier this year.
The site was founded four years ago and returns after a short break. According to Beta, the site has more than 20,000 active users and an "active social media presence". It also spawned a column in the Daily Mail and the best selling novel of the same name.
Roni Dutta, former editor-in-chief of iVillage.co.uk, has been appointed the site's new editor. Dutta has also written for bbc.co.uk, The Independent, The Daily Mirror and The Times Online and received the Johnson & Johnson award for best online beauty journalist in 2008.
Dutta said: "The fantastic thing about the site is that it's a reflection of the very natural way women help each other out in real life – it's genuine, heartfelt, and, vitally, very funny.
"I'm confident that together with our loyal community of tipsters we can make TopTipsForGirls.com bigger, better and even more brilliant."
Reardon said: "Life has dragged me off in another direction, but I am ecstatic that the wonderful Roni has agreed to adopt TopTipsForGirls.com."
TopTipsForGirls.com supplies tips and advice on relationships, sex, health, style, beauty, hair, home, gardening, cooking, travel, money, work and pets. Over the coming months it is to undergo a number of changes, including the addition of video content, new functionality and a redesign.
Robert Campbell, founding partner at Beta said of the acquisition: "Kate has managed to create a really valued community with TopTipsForGirls and it’s a privilege that Roni and the team can help carry on her good work.
"I for one have already picked up some useful and most enlightening tips."
