Tesco puts out the word that its stores are open 24 hours per day until Christmas Eve across all the national newspapers today [the small print reads 'selected stores']. It’s also promoting its Finest desserts line in the Daily Mail, The Times and the Daily Telegraph.

Morrisons features a spread of food for the big feast in the Daily Mirror, The Sun and the Daily Mail, with another placement for drink in The Sun, the Daily Mail and The Times. Meanwhile, Asda advertises its turkeys with full-page ads in the Daily Mirror, The Sun and the Daily Mail.

Sainsbury’s opts to highlight hams in the Daily Mirror and The Independent and veg in the Daily Mail and The Guardian.

Curry’s promotes a 60%-off electronic sale aimed at last-minute shoppers in the Daily Mirror
and The Guardian, and features iPads in The Daily Mail and The Times. Orange also promotes iPads with full-page ads in The Independent and the back page of The Guardian.

Superdrug has a special tear-out coupon for 1/2 off an Accessorize Gift Set in The Sun.

Vauxhall promotes its "Warranty that could last a lifetime" with double-page spread ads in The Independent, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph.

Lloyds TSB runs a sequence of three ads to promote its current accounts in The Times.
