Saga, the insurer for over 50s, takes out an unbranded ad in The Daily Telegraph in the form of two letters to the editor, humorously recommending its travel insurance in light of news coverage of airline code sharing agreements.

Debenhams offers 10% of beauty and fragrance products with ads across the press including a voucher to be scanned by a mobile phone.

John Lewis runs a cover wrap of Metro directing readers online and including a mobile voucher to scan for easy access to its mobile site.

HMV advertises "cracking gifts" while DVD rental service Blockbuster promises a "price blitz".

Cartier takes out a full page in The Daily Telegraph using its long-running creative which shows a leopard cub among boxes of its jewellery.

British Heart Foundation reminds readers of the Daily Express to book tickets for its ‘Angina Monologues’ comedy show by Victoria Wood.

Jeep takes out a full page in Metro saying "Oh hello snow, I’d been hoping you’d stop by" as more cold weather is forecast across Britain.

Meanwhile the Daily Mirror continues its £5 off offer at Lidl.
