Harrods includes a food special insert in The Independent highlighting festive luxury foods from its food hall.

Asda reveals its independent price comparison results in an ad in The Sun. The supermarket came out top on a comparison of Christmas shopping saving shoppers over £30 when compared with Waitrose.

Ryanair advertises "red hot fares and crew" as it pushes its Girls of Ryanair calendar.

IRobot takes out an ad in The Guardian to encourage readers to give a floor cleaning robot for Christmas.

Cadburys advertises its "spots v stripes" game in The Sun, driving readers online as part on its ongoing campaign.

Argos takes out a double page spread in The Sun to highlight deals on TVs and Sainsbury's reminds readers of The Daily Mirror that it sells gift cards for other retailers.
