Animal charity WWF takes out full pages in The Independent and The Guardian to launch an emergency appeal to save the wild tiger.

Morrisons advertises CDs and DVDs in The Daily Mail competing with Asda, which promotes its "movie week".

Finally The Daily Mirror tempts readers to brave the cold, offering two-for-one entry to UK attractions including Legoland and Sealife Centre.
