Charity Centrepoint urges readers of The Independent to sponsor a room at a homeless shelter to give a bed to someone sleeping rough this winter.

Sky takes out a double-page spread in the Daily Mirror to encourage readers to switch to HD this Christmas.

While Carlsberg is forced to take out ad space in The Independent to recall certain packs of its Tuborg beer after problems on its production line.
