Fifa's computer game is backed by a TV campaign fronted by footballer Wayne Rooney, and several retailers are pushing press ads across all the national newspapers.

Game offers reward points, Asda offers a part-exchange deal and Tesco offers a reduced price on the game when it is bought with any other new release.

M&S advertises half-price biscuits and chocolates, tempting customers with the tagline "they may be naughty, but at half-price they’re also very nice".

Meanwhile, Snickers advertises a 35% drop in saturated fat in its chocolate bars, supported by a campaign featuring actor Mr T.
