IPC Southbank's Wedding magazine, which bears the strapline "Don't get married without us", is celebrating a quarter of a century of providing brides-to-be with advice and inspiration for their big day.

The anniversary issue of Wedding has a silver foil header and 25 supporting marketing promotions, which are flagged on a bellyband. Advertisers in the issue include dress designers Jenny Packham and Ritva Westenius, and luxury holiday company Kuoni.

Another holiday operator, Sandals, is also sponsoring the 36-page luxury honeymoon supplement included in the issue.

The editorial is themed around the 25th anniversary, such as the feature "Stylish receptions – 25 ways to create an affordable, beautiful party".

Wedding editor Catherine Westwood said: "I have been waiting for the past four years since I joined Wedding to create this anniversary issue, and am delighted with the end result.

"It has been fascinating to look at our back issues to see how bridal trends and wedding-day style has evolved, and to know Wedding has played a very important part in shaping this special day for thousands of women. I can’t wait to see how Wedding looks in another 25 years"

In addition to the special issue, Wedding will be hosting an anniversary party for its regular advertisers at the Yorkshire cake shop Bettys Tea Rooms, during the bi-annual trade event at the British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate in September.
