The bakery chain is at the centre of a feature in the Daily Mail, after a reporter spent a day at the company’s headquarters to try and discover the chain's "recipe for success". Similar features have run in other papers this year.

Sainsbury’s promotes its financial services in the Daily Mirror, pushing loans for customers

Trade Point, a trade group that offers reduced-price building products to professional traders, advertises in the Daily Mirror, hoping to target readers while they work. The ad shows a move towards a national press strategy rather than trade press.

Michelin advertises energy saving tyres in The Independent and The Guardian.

Lloyds Pharmacy advertises a weight-loss product in the Daily Mail, along with a voucher for £15 off the pills, while those readers not watching what they eat, can take advantage of  reduced-price desserts with a Burger King adult meal deal in The Sun.

DFS advertises its "last days to save" in The Sun and the Daily Express, and Zara Phillips poses for a Rolex ad in The Daily Telegraph.

WH Smith launches a back-to-school offer with the Daily Express. The activity supports a TV campaign from the retailer, while homeless charity Centre point calls for donations with a full page in The Guardian.

The Daily Mail responds to "overwhelming demand" from readers and promises more Elvis films to collect with tokens, and the Daily Mirror relaunches its holiday offer, this time promoting three-night breaks from £9.75.
