Waitrose advertises its recipe cards, highlighting a desert from Heston Blumanthol following other ads featuring Delia Smith.

Sainsbury’s highlights its "award-winning" cheeses while Asda pushes its "extra special" range.

Asda is also offering 20% off homewares while Tesco pushes back to school stationary.

Orange runs ads across the papers today promoting its Orange Wednesdays tie up with Pizza Express. The mobile phone provider also highlights other offers including its "magic numbers" deal and pay-as-you go offers.

The Spectator advertises its subscription deal of 12 issues for £12 ahead of the magazine ABC results later today.

VO5 runs press ads to support its TV campaign in the tabloids. The creative shows young men and women removing their heads in order to apply hair products.

Argos promotes garden equipment deals in the Telegraph, as retailers continue to push home improvement products and services.

The Times runs a full page ad to showcase its iPad edition as well as a house ad highlighting the Sunday Times Wine Club.
