4th Screen will sell and serve targeted banner ads against the application, which is the number one free news application on the iPhone, for the duration of the 12-month deal.
The sales house, part of Mobile Interactive Group, already includes The Guardian, Autotrader and ITV within its network, and recently signed a deal with Bauer Media to sell mobile inventory around its FHM, Zoo and Heat brands.
Nicholas Wheeler, managing director at ITN On, said mobile had been a "long struggle", but content and advertising were now starting to come together.
Mark Slade, managing director at 4th Screen Advertising, said the addition of ITN On consolidated the company's position as "the UK's leading premium iPhone advertising network".
ComScore puts the number of iPhone users in the UK at more than one million, with 80% accessing news via their mobile browser.
