Eleven of the job cuts come from Adconion in the UK, with UK and global sales headcount reducing from 20 to 13, and operational account management and account executive roles contracting from 17 to 13.
The affected staff are currently in a consultation period.
Michael James, managing director of Adconian's UK operations, confirmed the redundancies are likely to be mirrored in other markets, including Germany and the US.
He said: "This is not a decision we have taken lightly. But this move will leave us sustainable and will put us in a strong position for the future."
Adconion, which was founded in 2004 as EuroClick, has its headquarters in London with offices in Germany, France, the US, Canada and Australia. The company delivers online ads using its own technology.
