The digital ad specialist will also provide support in online integrated campaigns, sponsorship deals and seeking out new partnerships.

Jazz FM is available on Jazzfm.com, DAB, freesat and Sky. Tim Nice, director of Jazz Fm, said Unanimis' experience will help the station attract new online advertising.

Unanimis' portfolio includes brands such as ITN, The AA and Ticketmaster.

Jazz FM recently appointed Richard Wheatly, the executive chairman of Jazz FM's parent company, The Local Radio Company, as its executive chairman.

In September, Trafficlink UK and UBC Media signed a three-year deal to supply traffic and travel to Jazz FM.

Jazz FM was set up in 1990 with Wheatly as chief executive and was sold in 2002 to GMG Radio for more than £40m. In 2004, Wheatly set up TLRC.

The station was subsequently turned into Smooth Radio by GMG Radio last year. After the demise of GCap Media's theJazz, GMG made a licensing agreement with TLRC to manage a new version of Jazz FM, which will air on spare DAB spectrum owned by GMG.
