Stanton, who has been with the company for two years and reported into Bauer Consumer Media chief executive Paul Keenan, will depart in July.

Bauer Consumer Media said it will announce a replacement for Stanton in due course.

Stanton, a former UK finance director at brewing giant InBev, took on the role of finance director at Bauer Consumer Media, formerly known as Emap Consumer Media, in September 2006.

Stanton is the latest executive to leave Emap Consumer Media, following H Bauer's £1.14bn purchase of Emap's consumer magazines and radio businesses in December.

Dharmash Mistry, the company's head of digital operations and Niall Ferguson, deputy managing director of men's brands, departed earlier this year.

ACP Magazines is the magazine arm of Australian media group, PBL Media, owner of the country's biggest commercial broadcaster Nine Network.

ACP Magazines recently entered into a joint venture with BBC Worldwide to publish a range of titles in Australia starting with Top Gear.
